Welp, I tried again. I'm quite pleased with THIS version, it's got a lot less wrong with it. Even his smile is better.
Have some story about him; This is Jaron. Prince of Arin. He's a goofy old knight, about 32 years old. He looks older for all the worry he's put himself through. People don't recognize him for the prince he is, but he ignores that.
He's thin as a rail and made of limbs. Looks like a bundle of sticks wrapped in a cloth really, until you get all his armor on him. His armor is old and muddy and isn't shiny, but he would dare you to find rust on it.
He's mellow, and sweet. He's thin because he tends to give away his food when he already barely can make it to the next town on what he has. He's being sheepish right now.
He's got a bad habit of slipping into 'ye olde speeche' when he's trying to be knightly, but he soon falls out of it when no one seems to be buying it. He's over dramatic, one of those guys that talks mainly by moving his hands -everywhere-. When he's in a bad mood, you can tend because he sorta folds in on himself and talks like a normal person.
His pony is one of those steady big bulky northern types, all hair and muscle. It's mane drips down over it's eyes and is covered in burr and mud, but it doesn't care. He's fine~. He gets snacks~ as long as he keeps his head down while riding. Some people think it's a more reliable fighter than his master, and certainly doesn't scare easily.
Despite your earlier whining I must say that chain mail looks rather spectacular.
Now I just want to know why I'm imagining that he could be drinking buddies with Blaze... alright, we probably shouldn't read too much into that. It doesn't sound safe even if I only meant that hypothetically.

Brilliant, wow you have really turned it up a notch and it looks great. Now you have Advanced Critique up so i will say that his arm is a lil short. I love how you made the fabric fall though, it shows his slender arms yet makes him look bulky. Truly a great description, do you write any stories? i would really love to read any more you have like this?
Really? If people want to see some of my stories, I'll work on a few for posting up around here. :3 I like writing, but I've avoided it here on DA because it's so rarely read. If I've got people who want to read, well I can of course supply. XD
Thank you. His arm was driving me nuts because I couldn't figure out what was wrong and so, well, gave up. XD I'm good at giving up, but that will help later on, because I have the problem quite often.

Oh yesh i really would love to read some stories, the way you write is amazing. I always find acting out the pose yourself but looking in a mirror is helpful
His hair is supposed to be like, a total matted have-not-redone-this-ponytail-in-3-months look. And it's slightly light colored so overdoing it with lines would have made him have black hair rather than Chestnut.~ D:
The chainmail was killer. :[
